Although tempted to vote for Barber Osgerby, my vote this year goes to Thomas Heatherwick for his contributions to the British pavilion as well as the Olympics designs.
U get to have a vote as well on a list of 10 nominees including:
» Zaha Hadid

More on Heatherwick below:
Thomas Heatherwick has one of the most diverse and well-known portfolio of works of any designer in the UK: from his early projects, such as the transformation of the windows of Harvey Nichols in London to the dandelion-like form of the British Pavilion at the Shanghai expo last year. This year, Heatherwick was commissioned to design the Olympic Cauldron that was lit to mark the start of the London Games, before an estimated audience of one billion people watching all over the world
