It was only around a month ago when Khatib & Alami was invited along with Bernard Khoury, Nabil Gholam, Laceco, Nabil Azar, Erga & some of the prominent offices in Lebanon to feature in the 24th World Architecture Congress exhibiting architecture in Lebanon by Lebanese Agencies.
K&A was represented by 2 local designs
(the Middle East Airlines Training Center designed by myself *Proud*)
& Le Royal designed by Mr. Varant Alexandrian
Gholam had exhibited his CMA/CGM Solidere buildings design, Erga has Sama Beirut as well as the Credit Libanais Project (which will soon feature on the blog), Samir Khairallah with Beirut Souks, & laceco had some of the best designs comparing it with the other engineering firms.
Spotted at the Congress was Alvaro Siza (one of my favourite architects)
